Abstract

India has rich ethno botanical heritageculture. Usage of traditional medicine has become a part of Indian culture. Intake of crop leads to direct influence of toxic elements on human body. Some inorganic elements are essential for physiological processes in human body towards good health. Trace metals plays vital role in science for the preparation of medicines. Medicinal plants are the rich of essential elements those have important role in human health. Andropogan Zizanioides is a grass medicinal plant, thoroughly used in India to cure some health disorders, as it contains vital medicinal valued elements. The health issues like body aches, joint aches and stomach aches are treated by using Andropogan Zizanioidesplants. This investigation has done to study the profile of some medicinal valued inorganic elementss in Andropogan Zizanioides.This analysis is helpful in understanding the herbal properties of plant and provide us the knowledge on elemental composition. Most of the elements are vital and plays important role in human body metabolism. The analysis results the investigation existence of different amounts of inorganic elements that includes Li, Be, Al, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Ga, As, Se, Rb, Sr, Ag, Cs, Ba and Tl. ICP-MS is a powerful and accurate instrument used to study the profile of trace elements in the plant extract.
