Result Knowledge regarding NIPAH virus infection before intervention of information booklet among adults in control group is majority 97% are having poor knowledge, 3% having Average knowledge whereas experimental group shows majority 96% are having poor knowledge, 2% having Average iv knowledge and 2% having Good knowledge. Significant change was observed in knowledge level as evident from the calculated’ control group posttest mean value 9.64 drastically increase after intervention of information booklet to experimental group post-test mean value 22.5 with t value of 44.20 and p value is 0.00001 that is less than 0.05. That is shows that information booklet was effective method to increase knowledge. Conclusion: A study may be conducted to assess the effect of implementation of nursing care at the hospital set up, Educational intervention can be used to assess the knowledge among large group of samples and in large setting.
