Main Article Content
Abstract
Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate the results between Millard technique versus Tennison-Randall technique in unilateral cleft lip (UCL) repair
Results: A total of 40 patients were randomly allocated in 1:1 ratio to the study’s groups. Group I had significantly longer operative time than group II (93.7±5.4 versus 72.6±7.4 minutes, respectively; p <0.001). In general group I has less post-operative wound infection, wound dehiscence and wound scarring than group II, but group II has less post-operative lip notch than group I. Conclusion:The overall results of this study demonstrate slightly significant differences between the Millard technique and the Tennison-Randall technique.
