Abstract

In most developing countries, herbal remedies are the most widely used medical treatment.Due to their widespread availability; medicinal herbs have been used for generations.Momordicacymbalaria is an ethno-therapeutic herb grows in India, with medicinal effects attributed to the presence of certain nutritional and bioactive components. The nutritional and phytochemical composition of the methanol extract of Momordicacymbalaria stem is evaluated in this study. Standard procedures were employed for proximate analysis and phytochemical screening, and GC-MS analysis was performed to profile tiny and volatile chemicals. Multiple researches have reported on the nutritional and phytochemical content of Momordicacymbalaria's leaves and fruits. The preliminary findings imply that the plant's methanolic stem extract contains both nutritious and bioactive components.
